Jacqui is a conceptual artist working mainly with drawing and collage.  She is interested in human behavior (both individually and collectively), social interaction and the way news is portrayed.  her main interest is women's issues; the way beauty and women as a whole are portrayed and seen in public.  She uses drawing to form her opinions and understanding of what’s going on in the world.  She is interested in creating patterns and making decisions throughout the process of drawing itself.  Understanding how shapes and mark making, & composition, can alter the perception of what is in front of you.  influenced by artists such as Marlene Dumas, Ken Currie, Kurt Schwitters, Robert Rauschenberg and the Fluxus Art Movement.

Jacqui studied at St Martins School of Art and works from her studio in Potters Bar.
